Chris Mercer to Present Keynote Address at 2014 AICPA/AAML Conference on Divorce

Z. Christopher Mercer, ASA, CFA, ABAR, chief executive officer of Mercer Capital, is one of the keynote speakers at the 2014 AICPA/AAML Conference on Divorce. The conference is scheduled for April 24-25 and will be held at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

Jointly sponsored by the AICPA and the AAML (American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers), this intensive program provides innovative ideas and timely solutions to help you succeed in a myriad of circumstances – to settle cases, value businesses, split marital assets, identify fraud, utilize electronic discovery & evidence, locate foreign assets and develop strategies to handle high-profile and unique cases. Most sessions will be presented by both a CPA or financial expert and an attorney, who will present a diverse set of perspectives and insights. This format allows both CPAs and attorneys to expand their knowledge base and gain key insights.

On April 24th, Chris is speaking in a general session on the topic of “The Five Really Big Valuation Issues.” He is also participating in two panel discussions:

  • The Great Debate: The Future of Marketability Discounts (with Ronald Seigneur, CPA/ABV/CFF, ASA, CVA, CGMA, Nancy J. Fannon, CPA/ABV, ASA, MCBA and James R. Hitchner, CPA/ABV/CFF, ASA)
  • The Defining Debate on the Hot Topics in Business Valuation (with Nancy J. Fannon, CPA/ABV, ASA, MCBA and James R. Hitchner, CPA/ABV/CFF, ASA and Jay E. Fishman, FASA, FRICS)
