Timothy R. Lee, ASA, managing director, is participating on the panel discussion, “When the Call or Letter Arrives – DOL/IRS Investigations,” at the upcoming 37th Annual Conference of the ESOP Association on May 9, 2014 in Washington, D.C.
This session will provide guidance on what to expect and how to respond to a DOL request for information and follow-up investigation; from an IRS audit and request for information; and amendments from IRS agents in the determination letter process. Opportunity will be provided to the presenters and audience members to share recent experiences with the DOL and IRS. Julie A. Govreau, Drinker Biddle & Reath will serve as the moderator and Brian D. Hector, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP is also a panelist.
