Mercer Capital is a successful, national business appraisal and financial advisory firm headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee with offices in Dallas, Houston, and Nashville. Our clients include private and public operating companies, financial institutions, asset holding companies, high-net worth families, and private equity/hedge funds.

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for billing and collections, for providing general administrative and basic marketing support. The position requires a person who can competently handle various administrative duties and basic marketing support. A candidate’s skillset requires attention to detail, organization, discipline, communication skills, and task flexibility.


  • Handle various administrative duties: billing and collections, report production, recording time, record and forward checks to firm headquarters, preparing correspondence and handling mail, typing & proofreading correspondence, making travel arrangements, filing and making copies, managing office and kitchen supplies, and occasional receptionist duties. You will coordinate with other offices for various support and administrative duties.
  • Act as an extension of the marketing team by assisting senior professionals with network-oriented marketing (calls, lunch appointments, client entertainment, sales development, etc.).
  • Work closely with the marketing team in Memphis to support Dallas & Houston office professionals with conference attendance, speeches, tracking blog content calendar, sales material maintenance, marketing communications, and mailing list development, among others.
  • Generate, maintain, and manage pertinent Salesforce reports.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Work Experience 

  • 1-3 years’ experience in similar role


  • 2 or 4-year college degree
