Z. Christopher Mercer, FASA, CFA, ABAR, Founder and CEO of Mercer Capital will speak at the Advanced Business Valuation Conference hosted by American Society of Appraisers (ASA) on October 9-10. Chris will present “EBITDA Single Period Income Capitalization for Business Valuation” and co-present “Active Passive Appreciation – Current Update” with Ashok Abbot (West Virginia University), Jay Fishman (Financial Research Associates), and Bill Dameworth (Forensic Strategic Solutions).
Chris began his valuation career in the late 1970s. He has prepared, overseen, or contributed to hundreds of valuations for purposes related to tax, ESOPs, buy-sell agreements, and litigation, among others. Chris is a prolific author on valuation-related topics and a frequent speaker on business valuation issues for national professional associations and other business and professional groups.
