Mercer Capital’s Timothy R. Lee, ASA, and Houlihan Lokey’s Jeff Tarbell, ASA, CFA, to present a session on Advanced ESOP Valuation Issues at the 2022 American Society of Appraisers (ASA) ESOP Virtual Conference on June 21, 2022.
This session will cover various advanced ESOP valuation issues in a Q&A format from the perspective of two experienced practitioners. Topics to be addressed include Control Premiums, Repurchase Obligation, Synthetic Equity, Forecasts, and Marketability, as well as additional topical questions from attendees. Lee and Tarbell will focus on best practices, areas of regulatory controversy, and pitfalls to avoid.
Tim is the Managing Director of Corporate Valuation Services and a board member at Mercer Capital. He has over 28 years of experience in valuation and corporate advisory services, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, ESOPs, trust & estate matters, buy-sell matters, dispute resolution, and corporate planning.
Tim has been a member of ASA for 25 years and an active volunteer and committee member within ASA and The ESOP Association. He has served on The ESOP Association’s Valuation Advisory Committee for ten years. In addition, he is a frequent speaker and contributing author to numerous valuation-related publications.
