Mercer to Discuss Concepts from New Books at the NACVA Minnesota Chapter Conference

Z. Christopher Mercer, FASA, CFA, ABAR, founder and CEO of Mercer Capital will present “Everything You Need to Know About Buy-Sell Agreements” and “Valuations, Premiums, and Discounts Demystified: The Integrated Theory of Business Valuation” at the NACVA Minnesota Chapter 19th Annual Business Conference (May 15, 2019). This presentation will review concepts from two of Mercer’s upcoming books, An Attorney’s Handbook for Buy-Sell Agreements and Business Valuation: An Integrated Theory Third Edition (with Travis Harms).

The National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) is a global, professional association that delivers training and certification programs in accounting and financial consulting fields such as business valuation, financial litigation forensics, expert witnessing, forensic accounting, fraud risk management, mergers and acquisitions, business and intellectual property damages, fair value, healthcare consulting, and exit strategies.

Chris began his valuation career in the late 1970s. He has prepared, overseen, or contributed to hundreds of valuations for purposes related to tax, ESOPs, buy-sell agreements, and litigation, among others. In addition, he has served on the boards of directors of several private companies and one public company. He enjoys working with business owners to address ownership transition issues. Chris is a prolific author on valuation-related topics and a frequent speaker on business valuation issues for national professional associations and other business and professional group.
