Auto dealers, like most business owners, can actually influence the value of their store. What are some of the value drivers of a store valuation and areas that appraisers adjust for in business valuations? Mr. Womack will present on these topics and discuss key elements of buy-sell agreements and other family transition issues that he observes from his auto dealer practice.
Scott is active in family law litigation (traditional litigated divorce and collaborative divorce) and corporate valuation and leads Mercer Capital’s Auto Dealer Industry team. Through his practice in the auto dealer industry, Scott provides valuation services to dealerships throughout the U.S. related to corporate planning and reorganization, transactions, employee stock ownership plans, litigation support, and tax issues as well as valuations of intangible assets, and assets subject to specific contractual restrictions. Scott and his team also consult with auto dealer clients in the process of selling or buying.
