The ESOP Report is published by the ESOP Association and is available to Association members only.
In this article, the authors discuss valuation considerations for both C Corp. and S Corp. companies under the new tax law. ESOP companies are advised to get an early start on the plan year valuation process. Once companies and market participants have time to fully absorb the new tax law, the full impact on valuations will become clear.
