Karolina Calhoun to Speak at the ACG Monthly Meeting

Karolina Calhoun, CPA/ABV/CFF, vice president, will present “Business Valuations and Quality of Earnings in M&A Transactions” at the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Tennessee Chapter’s monthly meeting on August 22. In this presentation, Karolina will provide an overview of valuation and quality of earnings as well as when to use each, how are the two different, and how can the two overlap.

Founded in 1954, the Association for Corporate Growth has chapters worldwide representing 14,500 members. ACG serves 90,000 investors, executives, lenders, and advisers to growing middle-market companies.

Karolina has been involved with hundreds of valuation and litigation support engagements in a diverse range of industries on local, national and international levels. Additionally, she provides financial reporting and valuation analyses related to mergers & acquisitions, intangible assets, private equity portfolio companies, contractual agreements, and complex capital structures. She has experience in valuing a wide variety of intangible assets such as patents, customer lists, trademarks, and contracts. These engagements have been conducted for the purposes of mergers and acquisitions, buyouts, financial reporting, estate and gift taxes, allocation of purchase price, litigation support, shareholder dissent, buy-sell agreements, dissolutions, financing, and business planning.
