Mercer Capital Sponsoring and Attending the 2025 Florida Tax Institute

Mercer Capital is proud to be sponsoring, exhibiting, and attending the 2025 Florida Tax Institute. The conference will be held February 5-7, 2025 in Tampa, Florida.

The three-day Institute features programming delivered by nationally recognized speakers devoted to individual income tax, entity tax, and estate/gift tax.  It is designed to be practical, informative, engaging, and innovative. The Institute draws attorneys, accountants, trust officers, estate planners, insurance and financial planners, appraisers, and planned giving professionals from across Florida and the United States. This Institute’s program is developed by practicing tax professionals for other tax professionals.

Three of Mercer Capital’s professionals, Timothy K. Bronza, CPA, ASA, Barbara Walters Price, and Tom Insalaco, CFA, ASA will be in attendance.

Tim Bronza is a Managing Director with Mercer Capital. Tim has been involved in valuing business interests for over 25 years for a variety of purposes, including federal gift, estate and income taxation, strategic business planning, business transactions and litigation, dissenting shareholder actions, buy-sell agreements, shareholder redemptions and other purposes, with an emphasis on valuations prepared for corporate and federal tax transactions and pre-liquidity planning. Prior to joining Mercer Capital, Tim was the President of Business Valuation Analysts. In September 2024, Business Valuation Analysts joined with Mercer Capital Management, Inc.

Barbara Walters Price serves as the Chief Marketing Officer of Mercer Capital and is also a member of the firm’s board of directors. She is responsible for the firm’s marketing strategy and for overseeing all marketing functions of the firm, including corporate communications, web site development, speaking engagements, social media, product development, newsletters, e-newsletters, direct marketing, web and live seminars, and business development, among others.

Tom Insalaco is a Senior Vice President with Mercer Capital. He has been valuing businesses since 2008 and has experience valuing businesses in many different industries and for many different purposes. Tom has developed expertise in valuation consulting for estate planning and exit planning purposes with a focus on construction, consumer discretionary, and transportation companies, as well as alternative asset managers. His valuation analyses have been used by stakeholders in private companies, attorneys, accountants, and other fiduciaries. Prior to joining Mercer Capital, Tom was a vice president at Management Planning, Inc.
