Mercer Capital Announces Promotions of Three to Senior Vice President

Mercer Capital is pleased to announce the promotion of Brooks Hamner, CFA, ASA, Karolina Calhoun, CPA, ABV, CFF, and Sujan Rajbhandary, CFA, ABV to Senior Vice President. These promotions recognize their long-standing commitment and valuable contributions to the firm and its clients.

Brooks Hamner’s practice is focused on the investment management industry. He provides RIAs, independent trust companies, traditional and alternative asset managers, wealth management firms, broker-dealers, and related investment consultants with valuation, corporate finance, and strategic planning services related to corporate planning and reorganization, litigated matters, transactions, ERISA plans, and tax issues as well as valuations of intangible assets, options, and assets subject to specific contractual restrictions. Brooks consults with investment management clients in the process of buying other RIAs or selling their business.

Karolina Calhoun is a member of Mercer Capital’s Litigation Group and provides valuation and forensics services for family law, gift & estate planning, commercial litigation, transactions (M&A), and further matters related to privately held businesses, dissenting shareholders, intellectual property, and personal goodwill. With her forensics accreditation, she provides economic and financial damages studies, asset tracing, lost profits, and lifestyle analyses.

Sujan Rajbhandary, leader of the firm’s Medical Device and Medical Technology industry team, has made substantial contributions to the firm’s financial reporting and corporate valuation practices. He provides fair value opinions and related advisory services to public companies, private companies, and alternative investment vehicles. He also values financial assets and liabilities for litigation support, tax compliance, ESOP compliance, and shareholder transactions.
