Financial Reporting Update: Goodwill Impairment, a recent Whitepaper by Mercer Capital’s Financial Reporting team, served as the basis for the Compliance Week article, “Big changes in store for goodwill testing, report says” (subscription required). The article, authored by Tammy Whitehouse, references Mercer Capital’s whitepaper to discuss the implications of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on impairment testing.
