The Mercer Capital summer internship program provides exposure to business valuation and financial advisory services, including corporate valuation, financial reporting, transaction advisory, dispute resolution, and family business advisory. Interns gain practical experience through valuation exercises, industry research, analytical projects, and professional training while working alongside experienced Mercer Capital professionals. As a summer intern, you will gain a broad range of corporate finance experience while working closely with one or more of our industry teams and service groups.
Mercer Capital uses the internship program as a component of the full-time Financial Analyst recruiting process. The internship provides an opportunity for candidates to become familiar with Mercer Capital and demonstrate the skills and characteristics Mercer Capital seeks in full-time Financial Analyst hires.

Responsibilities
Summer interns work closely with Mercer Capital professionals on a variety of analytical, research, and professional development projects designed to build practical finance and valuation skills.
Responsibilities may include:
Analyzing financial statements and company performance
Researching publicly traded companies and transaction data
Conducting company, industry, and market research
Completing valuation case studies and other analytical projects
Contributing to industry and service group research and content
Preparing written materials, presentations, charts, and financial exhibits
Participating in valuation training and professional development activities
Qualifications
Juniors pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field
Strong academic record, with a 3.5 GPA or higher preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Strong analytical, quantitative, writing, and communication skills
Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail, initiative, and work ethic
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple assignments
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
