Calhoun Appointed as Valuation Chair for AICPA FVS Conference

Karolina Calhoun, CPA/ABV/CFF, Vice President, is serving as the Valuation Chair of the 2020 AICPA Forensic & Valuation Services Conference. She is working with Nicole Lyons, CPA/CFF, CVA, who is the Forensics Chair of the conference.

In addition to her contributions to the conference planning committee, Karolina is on the agenda to speak with Gary Trugman on November 9, 2020 on “The Transaction Method – Maneuvering the Databases.” More information on her session can be found here.

As a member of the firm’s Litigation Group, Karolina provides valuation and forensics services for family law, gift & estate planning, commercial litigation, transactions (M&A), and further matters related to privately held businesses, dissenting shareholders, intellectual property, personal goodwill, etc. With her forensics accreditation, she provides economic and financial damages studies, asset tracing, lost profits, and lifestyle analysis.

In addition to serving as the Valuation Chair of the AICPA’s Forensic and Valuation Services Conference Committee, she also is a member of the AICPA’s CFF Task Force. In 2018, she received the Forensic and Valuation Services (FVS) Standing Ovation award, presented by the AICPA to professionals for significant contributions in their specialty areas and in their communities.
