Crews Appointed to Board of Economic Club of Memphis

Mercer Capital’s John T. (Tripp) Crews, III, ABV has been selected to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the Economic Club of Memphis.

The Economic Club of Memphis was founded in 1973 and was established to promote the study and discussion of economic, political, and social issues within the City of Memphis. Today, the Economic Club of Memphis provides a forum for Mid-South business leaders to exchange views with influential people from around the world and for citizens of Memphis to contribute to a better understanding of current economic, political, and social issues. The club achieves these goals by providing members with six to eight meetings per year featuring nationally and internationally recognized speakers. Past speakers include members of the Federal Open Market Committee, United States Senators, and Fortune 500 executives.

Tripp is a vice president with Mercer Capital and has valuation experience in engagements related to corporate planning and reorganizations, employee stock ownership plans, and estate and gift tax planning and compliance matters. As a member of the Transaction Advisory Group, he also has experience in M&A representation on both the buy-side and the sell-side.
